ENCA Uganda believes that young people are the heart of solutions to the world’s greatest
challenges. That’s why ENCA is dedicated to strengthening system in communities to achieve
sustainable outcomes in health, education, politics, economic empowerment by helping young
people pursue their purpose and aspirations, we empowering to contribute to, and benefit from,
the creation of more peaceful and prosperous communities through these objectives:-
i. Promoting positive youth development
ii. ENCA promotes a shared understanding of positive youth development where by young
people are empowered to reach their full potential.
iii. ENCA will envision transitions away from problem focused responses to youth crises top
ro-actively building skills, fostering healthy relationships.
iv. ENCA believes in transforming systems making youth an active partner in developing
efforts.
v. ENCA Uganda conducts research, innovative youth programs and disseminates.
vi. ENCA Uganda intends to improve the ability of youth led and youth serving institutions to
design, implement, and assess the programs and policies that impact young people.
vii. Through using lessons from, our own research and knowledge sharing, ENCA supports the
scale-up of sustainable youth programs with and across multiple sectors to equip young people
actively engaged in the development of their communities.

Youth empowerment program aims at increasing survival and creating employment rates through
cost effective young people empowering programs. In ability to change, care and support the lives
of people with messages and information, by conducting research, innovative youth programs and
disseminates information to expand the knowledge based on what does – and doses not – work in
development. By compiling resources that on evidence based approach we provide practitioners
and researchers with the necessary tools to continuously improve the effectiveness of youth devel-
opment practices and this has an impact change for young people to realize their dreams.
ENCA intends to envision this youth empowerment program by collaborating with different stake-
holders including media ie, newspapers, radio and TV stations, schools and higher institutions and
local governments.
Program activities include:-

Training workshops
d)
Community meetings and visits
e)
Production of information, education and communication materials in schools and
institutions with new 21st century skills and competences that can only be taught through
exploration, practice and feedback.
